Believe in yourself, because if you don’t you will allow others to disbelieve you. They will see all your faults as you do and then magnify them in your eyes. Why is this? The way you view yourself is projected out into the world and will come back to you, reflected as if in a mirror. So, if you are judging yourself, you will receive judgement from others; if you reject your true self, you will feel that rejection by anyone in your life. Lack of self-love, acceptance and belief are the most common blockages that underpin the failure of a person’s relationships with others, because the person has not established a relationship with themselves first. All interactions that people have with others, then, are founded on one thing: the perception the person holds about their own worth. All thoughts, feelings, conversations, interactions and reactions will project the energy of their belief or disbelief in themselves out to everyone they interact with and thus create the reality of their world.

This truth has been discussed before, but if you consider it in a global context, all acts that contravene human rights or spiritual law are acts that reflect the ego or egos of the person/s involved. Whether we are talking about individuals, families, communities or countries, the premise is the same:  the health of the human ego will always determine the way a person interacts with and reacts to the world around them and whether they see themselves as equal to others, as inferior or superior. The stance a person takes in this regard will then create a world that is either working for or against them at every turn, causing them to see themselves either as victims, as deserving of more than they have or happy with what they have.

The problems of the world are due to the imbalances created by human egos that refuse to take responsibility for their actions or give credit to others for a job well done. Wounded egos and lack of self – love are the greatest causes of the failure of people’s relationships with others, whether it be with a partner, in families, with friends, in business or politically, because the way one perceives another person’s words and actions will always be underpinned by the health of their ego and strength of their self-love and acceptance and their beliefs about their own worth. The only way to restore balance is for every individual to have a realistic view of themselves in relation to others, to begin to let go of the emotional baggage of the past and to create a newer, healthier belief system about themselves.

Belief is the founder of worlds, countries, governments and business. It is the only thing that will keep a person going when times are tough, when others have given up or when all seems lost. If one believes – in oneself, their gifts, their business or in each other, then there is room to build, to problem solve and to create opportunities for future growth. It may not always be enough, but without belief there is nowhere to go at all.

What others believe may not resonate with you, but that is their own journey. The question you must ask yourself is, if other people are to believe you and believe in you, what must you at first accept and believe about yourself that will generate a positive energy out to the world to be reflected back to you?
